Ease of Use/Install:
Budget Express is a software program that focuses primarily on budgeting and does a good job—this combined with its functionality make Budget express one of the top-ten money management products.
If Budget express wanted to compete with some of the all inclusive financial software packages, they would have to add financial planning and investing features.
Banking/Bills:
If you're looking for an extremely easy-to-use product that makes budgeting bills a breeze, Budget Express may be for you.
A set-up wizard guides you through the process of inputting all of your financial information. Once everything is in place an easy to read calendar shows your paydays and the dates bills are due.
We didn't have any problems while installing Budget Express.
Reporting:
Budget Express focuses strictly on budgeting—the program does a great job with account reconciliation and online banking but doesn't include any other features.
Financial Calculators:
You will find a loan calculator and an investing or retirement calculator—these are the only financial planning features Budget Express offers.
Tax Options:
There are no tax options available within Budget Express. To read reviews on software that does include tax options, please refer to Quicken Deluxe and Microsoft Money Deluxe.
Personal Investing:

Summary:
With the addition of some investing, planning, and reporting options this product could compete on a larger scale with extensive personal finance software. The bottom line—Budget Express is exceptionally user-friendly and will help you budget your money, but that's all.
